Claude

Add Korala to Claude as a custom connector. Setup takes a few minutes and needs no technical knowledge. Custom connectors work on all Claude plans.

Screenshots of Claude will be added after the public launch. The steps below follow Claude’s current documentation (checked 2026-09-18); menu names can change.

You need a Korala account where you are an Owner or Admin.

Add the connector

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector.
Enter a name, for example Korala, and this URL:

Choose Continue. Claude checks the address and picks the sign-in options for you. Sign in now and Register automatically each carry a “Detected” label. Leave them as they are. Korala does not yet support “Use Claude’s published identity”.

Anthropic is rolling this two-step dialog out in stages. If you see a single screen, open Advanced settings to find the same choices.
Choose Add. Claude lists Korala and says you are not connected yet.
Choose Connect. Claude opens Korala’s consent page in your browser.

Approve the connection in Korala

Sign in to Korala if the browser asks.
Check the assistant name and the host on the consent page. Korala marks both as unverified. Continue only if you started this from your own Claude a moment ago. If a link brought you here, choose Cancel.
Pick the permissions. Leave Send and void documents off for your first try. Claude then prepares drafts and gives you a link to review, and Korala emails nobody.
Read the note under the permissions. The connection works with your real documents, and documents Claude creates from templates count against your plan.
Choose Connect. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, Korala asks you to confirm with your security key, authenticator code or a backup code first. The browser then returns you to Claude.

Use Korala in a chat

Start a chat.
Select the + button, open Connectors and enable Korala.
Ask for something, for example: “List my Korala templates.”

Claude does not pass attachments to connectors. To use a PDF you already have, ask Claude to prepare it for signing: it creates an empty draft and gives you a link to upload the file in Korala, then continues once you say it is there. You can also start in Korala: open a draft and press Continue with your AI assistant. Claude can write an agreement itself as a Markdown template too.

Team and Enterprise plans

An Owner of your Claude organization adds the connector first, under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom, with the same name and URL. After that, each member opens Customize → Connectors and chooses Connect next to Korala. Each member signs in to Korala and approves a connection of their own.

Disconnect

Open Settings → AI Assistants in Korala and choose Disconnect next to the connection. See Permissions and safety.

Claude Desktop with an API key

Most people should use the connector above. Claude Desktop also accepts a desktop extension file, korala.mcpb, which connects with a Korala API key and needs no sign-in page.

Korala will publish the download link at launch. Once you have the file:

Double-click korala.mcpb. Claude Desktop opens the install dialog.
Enter your API key ID and secret. Create them in Korala under Settings → API Keys, and start with a test-mode key. Treat any API key as able to reach live documents; API key (CI and headless) explains why.
Leave Let Claude send and void documents off to start.

An API key carries no per-connection permissions, so the choices on the consent page do not apply to it. API key (CI and headless) covers the details.
